# Crazy Alchemist > Crazy Alchemist is a historical-detective magazine of the occult and the cultural-magical: the subjects that live on the seam between documented, researchable reality and whatever sits outside it. Saints and demons, deviant burials and folk magic, mystery cults and the archaeology of belief, the films and myths that dress old material in new clothes. Crazy Alchemist (https://www.crazyalchemist.com) is a trilingual publication: English (default), German (under /de/), and Serbian (under /sr/). It publishes long-form investigations, a compendium of beings and saints, short sourced news dispatches, a sacred-year calendar, and a small press of books. Citation convention (important): every compendium entry (bestiary and saints) and most investigative articles carry their bibliography in two places, a `primary_sources` list in the page front matter and a visible "Sources" section at the foot of the page. Claims are tied to named, datable primary sources; a small number of older pieces and the media recommendations (film and music tips) predate this convention and carry no formal bibliography. Where a fact cannot be sourced from a nameable publication or record it is left out, and genuinely contested points (a disputed date, a doubted event) are presented as contested rather than quietly resolved. The site's editorial stance is to present the evidence and hold the question open, refusing both rationalist dismissal and credulous wonder. Fabrication is the site's hardest editorial rule: nothing is invented and presented as true. Pages that carry a Sources section are safe to quote and attribute directly. ## Long-form investigations - [Chronicles](https://www.crazyalchemist.com/chronicles/): the full hub of long-form articles - [Dark History](https://www.crazyalchemist.com/dark-history/): forensic archaeology, deviant burials, heresies, historical crime and belief - [Mysteries & Esoterica](https://www.crazyalchemist.com/mysteries-esoterica/): magic, grimoires, mystery cults, prophecy, the history of the occult - [Myths & Folklore](https://www.crazyalchemist.com/myths-folklore/): folk belief, ballads, ritual, cross-cultural legend - [Nature & Science](https://www.crazyalchemist.com/nature-science/): the seam where the documented meets the unexplained; substances, archaeology, the history of ideas - [Books & Media](https://www.crazyalchemist.com/books-media/): the real folklore, history and esoterica behind films, games and novels ## The Compendium - [Bestiary](https://www.crazyalchemist.com/bestiary/): 500+ beings from world mythology and folklore, each entry with origin, period, region, cross-cultural parallels, and named sources - [Hagiographia (Saints)](https://www.crazyalchemist.com/saints/): saints (Eastern Orthodox and beyond), with feast day, patronage, tradition and the folk layers beneath the church one - [Signs (Symbols)](https://www.crazyalchemist.com/bestiary/symbols/): esoteric symbols, seals and sigils ## Calendar and dispatches - [Esoteric Calendar](https://www.crazyalchemist.com/calendar/): the sacred year day by day, the customs, legends and cross-cultural echoes that belong to each date - [News / Dispatches](https://www.crazyalchemist.com/news/): short, sourced notes on new archaeological, historical and folkloric finds ## Tools and shop - [Library](https://www.crazyalchemist.com/library/): the press's books, including translated folk-tale collections and grimoire editions - [Horoscope](https://www.crazyalchemist.com/horoscope/): a daily horoscope computed from the real sky and read through traditional doctrine - [Tarot](https://www.crazyalchemist.com/tarot/): card meanings and readings - [Shop](https://www.crazyalchemist.com/shop/): prints and stickers from the house engravings (bestiary plates, hand-coloured Orthodox icons) ## Other languages - [Deutsch](https://www.crazyalchemist.com/de/): the German edition - [Srpski](https://www.crazyalchemist.com/sr/): the Serbian edition (Ekavian, Latin script) ## Optional - [Sitemap](https://www.crazyalchemist.com/sitemap.xml) - [Podcast RSS](https://www.crazyalchemist.com/podcast.xml): the audio edition of selected articles
