The Ars Goetia, Illustrated
Every grimoire names the seventy-two demons of the Lesser Key of Solomon. This edition shows them: each spirit on its own spread, with its picture, its seal from the Lesser Key, the 1904 Mathers text, and a short note tracing the name back to where it began. Thirty-seven pictures are historical engravings, most of them by Louis Le Breton (1863); the other thirty-five are house engravings drawn after the Goetia's own descriptions.
